My Story
I am so glad that you decided to take an interest in my business. I would like to share with you how I got started with this amazing company that has changed and continues to change my life every day. I first heard of Scentsy from of my neighbor Kelly. She had just moved down from Missouri and was trying to host some parties in her new state of residence. At first, I was like "oh no... not another direct selling company" but I listened to her and what she had to offer. At the time I was a big fan of candles but was having an issue with my 3-year-old thinking it was happy birthday and blowing them out. One day I had left a candle burn too long and when he went to blow it out, he blew the wax all over the white wall. That was when I decided to call Kelly and place my order for her "safe for children and pets Scentsy warmers". Two weeks after I got the order my roommate signed up to be a Scentsy consultant. I watched the videos of the business with her, as the supportive friend that I am, and realized "hey..I can do this". I started Scentsy in November of 2009 with the intention of making some extra cash to make ends meet. I am a single mother of 2 and my 9 to 5 just wasn't cutting it. Since then, I have used Scentsy not only for my benefit, but to help others as well. Through fundraisers I have been able to raise funds for different causes and organizations. I have also grown my team and feel blessed to have been able to touch the life of others with this wonderful opportunity. I can't wait to see what this wonderful company has in store for my future!!!
